Standard Flight

The Standard Flight is our one-hour sunrise balloon ride over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for AED 1,049 per person, with pickup from your Dubai hotel between 3:45 and 4:30 AM. It includes the flight, unlimited soft drinks, coffee and water, a flight certificate and the drive back, with drop-off between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. It’s the package most first-time visitors choose when they want the flight itself and the rest of the day free.

What to expect on the morning

Your driver arrives at your hotel lobby in the 3:45–4:30 AM window and takes you out to the launch site on the edge of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a drive of about 45 to 60 minutes. You’ll have time to watch the crew lay out and inflate the envelope, first with fans, then with the burners lighting the pre-dawn sky. Our pilot runs a short safety briefing before boarding — where to stand, how to hold on for takeoff and landing — and then you step into the basket alongside up to 24 other guests.

The balloon lifts as the sun comes up, and for about an hour you drift over the dune sea while the desert turns from indigo to gold beneath you. Drinks are unlimited on board, and the pilot shares details about the reserve and, on many mornings, points out wildlife on the ground below. Landing is typically gentle, and the ground crew is there to meet you and hand out your flight certificate before the drive back to your hotel.
