Standard vs Deluxe vs Adventure: Which Dubai Balloon Flight?

All three of our packages share the identical one-hour sunrise balloon flight, the difference is entirely in what happens once you land. Deluxe adds AED 100 to Standard for a camel ride, falconry show and camp breakfast, and Adventure adds a further AED 200 on top of Deluxe for quad biking and dune bashing. Which one suits you comes down to how much of the morning you want to spend in the desert versus back at your hotel.

What is identical across all three packages?

The flight: about one hour over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, at sunrise, with unlimited drinks on board and a flight certificate at the end. Hotel pickup, between 3:45 and 4:30 AM, is also free and identical across every package, as is the standard cancellation policy.

What does the AED 100 step to Deluxe actually buy?

A camel ride through the dunes near the desert camp, a live falconry show, and a full gourmet breakfast spread. It adds roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to the morning, taking total door-to-door time from 4 to 5 hours up to 5 to 6.

What does the AED 300 step to Adventure buy, and who is it for?

On top of everything in Deluxe, Adventure adds 30 minutes of self-drive quad biking and guided dune bashing in a 4x4. It’s built for guests who want a full active morning in the desert rather than a quieter one, and it’s the longest package at 6 to 7 hours door to door.

Which package for families, couples, older guests, or short-stay visitors?

Families with younger children and short-stay visitors with a tight schedule tend to do well with Standard or Deluxe, simply because the mornings are shorter and easier to plan around. Couples and guests looking for a fuller desert morning, including proposals and anniversaries, often choose Deluxe for the extra camp time without the quad biking. Older travelers generally do fine on any of the three, the main consideration is being comfortable standing for the flight and, on Adventure, riding a quad bike.

Are there age rules that affect the choice?

Every package requires guests to be at least 5 years old, with a minimum height of around 1.1 meters. Quad biking on the Adventure package carries its own age and size requirements for safety, so if you’re booking Adventure with younger family members, contact us to confirm suitability before booking.

Can you mix packages within one booking?

Contact us if your group wants a mix, for example some guests on Standard and others on Deluxe, and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your date. Since the underlying flight is identical, mixed bookings are often workable, but it’s best to check directly rather than assume.

How do cancellation terms apply across the three packages?

Identically. Whichever package you book, the same cancellation and refund policy applies: 48 hours or more before pickup gets a full refund, 24 to 48 hours gets 50 percent, and less than 24 hours isn’t refundable. Weather cancellations always get a free reschedule or a full refund, regardless of package.
