About Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Dubai
Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Dubai runs sunrise balloon flights over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. The name borrows from the world's best-known ballooning region, but our flights, our crew and our pickups are all in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Why the name, and where you actually fly
Cappadocia is one of the most recognized names in ballooning anywhere in the world, and we borrowed it for exactly that reason. Every part of the experience itself, the pickup, the launch site, the crew and the flight, takes place over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, on the edge of the city.
We chose the desert reserve for the same reason ballooning works well there: open, undeveloped land with no roads or power lines to complicate a flight path, and the calm early-morning air that makes the whole experience possible.
Who flies and who looks after you
A small ground crew handles the morning end to end: drivers who collect you from your hotel, launch crew who inflate and inspect the balloon before every flight, GCAA-licensed pilots who make the final weather call and fly the route, and camp staff on the Deluxe and Adventure mornings who run breakfast, the camel ride and the falconry show.

How we decide whether to fly
The go or no-go decision is made at the launch site itself, on the morning of your flight, principally on wind and visibility. It is deliberately not a decision made from a forecast the night before, since desert conditions can shift, and it is always a safety call rather than a convenience one.
We fly only when the Pilot-in-Command judges the wind and visibility safe, never as a schedule decision.
Every pilot holds a GCAA license, and every flight runs in line with UAE aviation requirements.
The price you see at booking is the price you pay, with no added fees on the morning.
If we cancel for weather, you get a free reschedule or a full refund, your choice.
The three packages, in one paragraph
All three packages share the identical one-hour sunrise flight over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, with free hotel pickup and drop-off. The Standard Flight is the flight itself, back at your hotel by 8 to 9 AM. The Deluxe Flight adds a camel ride, a falconry show and a gourmet breakfast at our desert camp.
